Hey, so you’re thinking about purchasing a bronzer but you aren’t sure of which colour to choose? Well here are some tips to help you out, as well as how to apply based on the shape of your face.
Younique’s Beachfront Bronzers are amazing and have three different shades to choose from; Sunset, Hermosa and Malibu. It is important to pick the right shade for if you go too dark, it will make a huge difference but will not look natural at all (everybody will know you are wearing bronzer, and as much as you want it to show, you do want it to look good right? 🙂 )
- Sunset – For light skin. Scarlet, Velour or Organza, this will be your shade.
- Hermosa – For medium skin. Taffeta, Chiffon, Satin
- Malibu – For dark skin. Cashmere, Velvet, Charmeuse, Chenille, Cypress, Suede, Georgette
Now for some tips on how to apply Bronzer:
You do NOT, I repeat, do NOT want to apply this product all over, that is not the purpose of a bronzer. You want to apply it where the sun would naturally hit your face.
By applying it at these locations, you will get a nice sun-kissed look that you can even use during the winter. Another trick, is thinking about doing an E regular and backwards shape. Start at the forehead, bring down just in your cheek line and bringing it to just before your chin. (As you can roughly see in the picture) It is always best to start lightly and adding more if necessary. (It is easier to apply than to remove)
This product is also great to do some contouring with. Although you don’t have the highlight, you can place it where you want to shape your face. For that, you do it just under your cheekbone, on your jaw line, top forehead and on your nose (all depending on the shape of your nose, not all are the same, so it is not a good idea to follow the contouring on most pictures).
